About the Organization
ALIMA stands for the Alliance for International Medical Action. It is a health-focused Non-Governmental Organization that was established in 2009 with the mandate of providing medical care in case of emergencies.

In addition, since its establishment, the organization has been living its mandate. ALIMA requires the services of an Administrative/Logistics Intern (ABJ003) in Abuja.

The Administrative Intern will support the efficient and smooth running of the office in Abuja. Also, the intern will report to the Human Resource, Finance, and Administration officer.

In addition, you will work with other members of the organization to achieve set goals and objectives.

Qualification and Requirements

A Degree in Business Administration, Public administration, logistics, or any other relevant discipline.
.
At least 1-year experience (working in an NGO)
Fluency in written and verbal English language (Ability to speak French will be an added advantage.

Also, the ability to use Micro-soft tools like MS word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Excellent communication skills
A high sense of professionalism and work ethics

In addition, the ability to multitask and meet deadlines is required.

Job Responsibilities
Ensure smooth office operations by ensuring that faulty equipment is repaired.

Also, documentation and filing of quotation requests will be part of your responsibility

Manage and file documents that need signature and other purposes

Handle procurement files for accuracy and efficiency

In addition, Prepare records for all pending orders with external vendors

Also, Handle the arrangement of transportation, of services for all orders to ensure timely delivery upon request.

Furthermore, Timely submissions of payment schedules and submitting tax reports monthly to the tax office.

Ensure that office stationaries are adequately provided

Handle hotel reservations, bookings for flight, and staff support services

Ensure that materials that are purchased do not go out of stock. Coordinate their distribution.

Also, ensure that guesthouse room allocations are done for rooms that meet relevant health and environmental standards.

In addition, you will be required to handle other tasks as assigned.
